    Chad Love Lieberman, Art Thief

From Comic Book Resources- After running a feature about “New York Multimedia Pop Artist” Chad Love-Lieberman, nephew of Sen. Joseph Lieberman, the website Campus Socialite retracted its story upon finding out that Love-Lieberman “is a fraud, taking other people’s art from the web, touting it as his own, and worst of all – selling it for profit.” http://robot6.comicbookresources.com...-goes-digital/
Artist Deirdre Reynolds has a list http://dlr4553.deviantart.com/journa...Scam-253477205 going on DeviantArt of all the pieces on art4love that artists have identified as their own. There pieces from CA and Massive Black.
Here is the info I have, this guy claims to have sold digital rights to over 4300 images. He also sells prints and canvass reproductions and we have found both CA and DA artists work there. Here is an article about the guy-

I know a few people who've been ripped of by this guy. So, according to some of those articles, he's not just selling T-shirts with stolen art on them like a lot of art thieves seem to, but he's actually licensing the rights to other people's work? That's beyond low. I hope his testicles get eaten by fire ants.

Insurance or not, it wouldn't make the pain of having your nether regions devoured by ants any less.

Something tells me after this he'll be needing that insurance policy though...

He has all of his songs on youtube under the account "evolrecords." I just watched one with live action and it was terrible of course.
He also has 2 books listed on amazon, one called: "Creative Warriors Walk Alone: The Business of Art" and "The Bank of knowledge."

Maybe I should leave his art book a glowing review.

    >_>

Just noticed this comment on one of Mr Love's other musical masterpieces on Youtube. From the user 'canvasart365' who appears to have left the exact same comment on a bunch of other stuff.

Wow. This is such a cool video. I really enjoyed watch it. Great job and hope to see more cool video work like this.

Hey you should check out ART4LOVE.com i think you would really enjoy it and the canvas art and wall art.

They also give artwork to children with terminal sickness.
I like the idea of someone giving artwork to terminally ill children. What's that, Timmy? Brain cancer? You poor dear. Have a painting.

Wow, that's some ballsy theft going on right there. I wonder how long this has been going on for?

So what's this guy http://www.linkedin.com/in/pravda got to do with it? I wonder if he knows about Chad's theft or just thinks that how you do business?

    Edit: Also, http://www.facebook.com/chadloveliebermanart4love

There are definitely times when it's good to have art that's not good enough to steal. This'd be one of them. Phew.

Without even having to leave the page of this link http://www.markyourspot.com/social_c...productid=1013 I scrolled down and spotted another blatant ripp off of an artist named meats meier http://www.3dartspace.com/index.php?...=115&Itemid=27

The whole markyourspot site seems to be down now but I have a couple of pages of it still open in my browser from earlier. Should I print screen it to save the art or would that be a bit pointless?

    Wow!

Most art thieves at least try to disguise their theft, by.. at least changing some colors or flipping the image.

    This guy's just amazing!

I know this is pessimistic, but I worry that he has super expensive, sleezy lawyers who will get him the rights to these works and trample any of the well-intentioned attorneys who represent the artists, unless they launch a full on attack together or something. I don't know, after the first time one of my favorite artists had her art blatently stolen from her, and she ended up with not so much as an apology, I can't help but feel that in our corrupt legal system, creative protection can be kind of flimsy. What these artists could really use on their side is public knowledge - I hope the Chronicle at least prints a retraction or a more harshly truthful piece on him once they get word - if anyone sees something to that effect, let us know!! Even a piece by another publication would be great to have a link to - so I can spread this atrocity to my friends who are too lazy to read through forums on CA.
