Magyar has a better sketchbook now.

    Hello!

    >wave<

I have another post here in sketchbook but I messed it up ><

I will try to post 1 image per day in here! If I miss a day the next I will post 2.

I am 16! I work in black and white 90% of the time, here are some scribbles.

It's turning out to be a nice study so far. Good luck, I'll be rooting for you. Teenagers unite!

The girl's face on day 2 reminds me of a happy Mona Lisa. (:

I have been studying Leonardo Da Vinci, in fact all my drawings of faces I learnt how to do them by looking at his work ><

These works are looking really good. Where are you from? Going to an art school?

I ask because those studies look a bit like assignments we've had at Academy of Art.

Thank you, I am from the UK and I am self taught (learnt to draw from books and still life), next year I will be attending an art class once a week for studies. Should be fun

@Rhubix I have no clue, but thanks and you too! Happy sketching

I hope when I am 18 to apply for a college of art. Not sure where yet but there's time.

    Hey!

    Nice work so far.
I would like to see more different things. Did you do environments so far?

    Keep practicing!

Indeed I do. Let me find one for you

The first image is using watercolour, and the second was finger painting using oils

From quite some time ago. Been meaning to paint some more skies and landscapes but where I live there's mainly fields....and they become rather dull very quickly.

A giger - inspired picture. I am trying to only copy the basic form of the original picture, trying to see if I can achieve it. Actually really difficult to draw metallic objects successfully, but its fun and something different.

I'm lazy. Big problem with that. D:

Sadly I don't really have any opportunity to go to life drawing classes so all my anatomy work is done from books, which tend to be kinda dull and result in more lifeless work. Will be updating soon as I finally enrolled in an art class n.n

Two studies here - one of a mans face and another is the study of the neck area (hence the vague outlines of the face)

Good stuff! you've been good on updating regularly
It's tough when you can't get into a life drawing class but in the mean time you can ask some friends or family to pose for you.
Also you can just do quick 30 second - 5 minuet studies from life -
draw whoever is cooking supper, in the park, at the mall.
My favorite place to draw is the subway. I'm stuck on there 2 hours each day, I might as well make use of the time. Morning ride is for sudoku and crossword lol evening ride for life drawing.
You can also branch out from people and draw objects. Old boots and handbags are really good drawing tools. Their simple and complex at the same time. When ever there are no interesting people on train I start looking at their stuff. When all that gets exhausted (I'm the last stop so there may only be 4-5 ppl on there) I start drawing boxes or imaginary stuff.
Don't forget to draw the fun stuff sometimes- all studies will burn you out. ;D

    Happy sketching!!
