Why is the woman looking behind her even though there's something that probably requires bit more attention on the other end of the tunnel? What is that light thing? Why is she wearing sunglasses in a dark tunnel? Why doesn't the image answer these questions?
The light that's coming to her face doesn't seem to be affecting the environment and your textures look stretched/squished on the right side on the image. Also please tell me you're gonna fix that background to be less obviously 3D modelled and the woman less pasted-on looking?

Let me start by saying thank you. To be honest I have not thought about the questions you ask before I started on this project. But I can see what you think. I will have to change much. With your questions in mind ..

Well, the way I'm looking at is, is that she's caught. Looking behind her trying to see if there's a way out, or that somethings there and she's cornered. That explains why she's passively holding her weapons. But I'm going on a limb here and it definitely should be made clear if this is the case.

Also, the perspective is off with how she is holding the weapon. The handle is coming towards the viewer, yet the rest of the rifle is in profile.

Looks OK to me. If the woman is from a stock photo or similar source (i.e., if you didn't take the picture yourself), you should credit the original photographer.

I agree with MattewHD's point about the gun mate its busted!

You could go for a I'm just catching my breath look and leave some bodies and shell casings on the deck, that would strengthen the story a little. We would then be wondering if she did it to them or if she found some team mates on the deck.

all the best with it mate

Found your stock, and as well as what others are mentioning, you didn't quite cut it out correctly. Right now, her right hand (and wrist, to some degree) are misshapen, because you didn't account for the blown-out white area where light is hitting her skin.

Hey Revidescent-- Good catch! Which keywords did you use to find the photo? I spent about fifteen minutes searching dA under "Female/Full Body" for "tank," "gun," "jeans," "boots" and combinations thereof, and that photo never came up.

Thank you for the constructive criticism guys. It helps a lot when I is fairly new to manipulation.
