    artists studying memory though motion

    hi,

first off, i'm a superf*ckwit, my dissertation proposal is in tomorrow and i'd no idea, i thought i had summer

anyhow - the subject is studying artists who've used motion to depict memory (take it as loosely as you want)

wondering if any of you guys could think of any artists, in any medium who do this? point me in any direction and that would be amazingly helpful

    thank you loads in advance!

One of the professor's at my u makes use of time and motion in her paintings. She paints people sitting for her, and she keeps repainting the figures as the light changes and they change positions. She doesn't completely erase what she had painted before, so you get to see traces of what she had down before. Her name is Ann Gale, but I don't think you'll find any information on her. She's not that well known.
