    So...it's been a while...

    Just some random freehand doodles,
In other news, I've picked up a few brilliant fantasy art books recently so will be studying them a fair bit in due course!

More of the same - practising my skin painting, I feel like something's off with the head, I thought perhaps too small but I've tried adjusting it countless times and any bigger and it just looks plain wrong!

WIP from a painting I'm working on of Mr Roland Deschain (aka, the Gunslinger himself) from Stephen King's novels.

Another wip, if it looks all overly contrasty and over saturated/generally horrible, then it's the computer's fault, for some reason it's not saving it with the correct values - not sure why >_<

Try doing more contour paintings. The landscape from page 4 and the one on this page (as others have said) are amazing. Applying that to figures would become amazing, perhaps.

    I think.

Anyhow, keep up the good work. And the cowboy pic looks great. The coat detail in particular is rather well done.

ArtsySiridean: Thank you so much! I'm not sure exactly what you mean by contour paintings, but I have a vague idea! Hehe, I was proud of the coat too Thanks again!

Aryeh: Thanks a lot, I appreciate it!

Just something I've done so far today.

i like how loose your getting, but try and work more with black and white to play with values, i think it could help you if you continued in that direction for a while.

I hope to be the best i can be... nothing less
