Current WIPS + Bunny and chemical sniper from before.

Ignore most of the 2nd character - already changed some since this upload on the arms - general pose and head.

And ignore the gun the digger is using quality wise ~ oh so horrible - also the shotgun for the left guy and much else.

So I kind of got lost in roughs instead of finishing any, but kind of just started new ones.

Ok, if I were an honest man I would tell you that I was a little reluctant to show you these. (Oh, wait...)

The truth maybe that "Can possibly win a fight 1 vs 1 with a digital cube" may be a more accurate assessment than "intermediate".

The first image is the model imported into unity 3d. To see what it would possibly look like, and to give you a false notion that I know what I'm doing.

Possibly, but more to the point. When I first heard about this project I decided to start looking into Unity 3D and Javascript. Its not much but I can walk around in there and "hold" a gun! (Only took me 20 hours to figure that one out...)

The second image is my model in a crummy UV, but I can UV at least.

I'm no were near "good" even "decent", but I know my program enough to find tutorials, and build from what I know.

I looked at the engine that Rinibee was talking about, and I realized that you guys really aren't playing around here.

I might just follow the thread here and model what I can, to improve. If now now then maybe a few months down the line I can be of some help. edit* (Guess I should have gone to college to learn this stuff! )

HOLY MOTHER OF ALL THAT IS....HOLY!!!!1!!! I was not expecting this when I work up this morning.

I have a ton of stuff to say but at this moment in time my brain is not engaged and I'm pretty sure it's melting out of my ears so I'll keep it brief.

Dan You already know what I'm going to say don't you? Perfect! and Digger! The moment I saw him, the voice of the guy who's doing his voice came out of him and it was unbelievable. Between you and Blankslate, you've really brought this guy to a whole new level of real!

Sickbrush man oh man I laughed so hard... then stopped laughing and said 'wait a minute? Why am i laughing at a poop joke? I'm not five....Then thought about the word poop again and promptly laughed (Showed it to my hubby and he did the same XD) An amazing creature! Can't wait to see more

Blake Just when I think you can't get any more awesome, you go and get even more awesome! You know I luffs you hun! Perfect start to the day for me

    Here's some music for ya:

Cool - then I'll just clean it up - fix the gun, some anatomy issues and blend in the climbing gear better.

You take the video id from the link - say wlYBPuHeZxw from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlYBPuHeZxw and then you put tags yt tags around it - so [yt]code[ slash yt ]

    like

& fitting the music I might as well post an update of the creature.
Going to change the nose plates a bit as they are too small and flaky - considering a snowplow or similar instead.

    Wip

Here is a little WIP I have going on. I tried to borrow the elements that I could from the sketches. Believe it or not, this was supposed to be the chainsaw~for~hands~man'bot. That, uh. Changed.

    Night time here, later all!

Soooooo I'm a wee lil' nubs here at CA, however I had a thought. Many games these days seem to not really push many boundaries, like games on last gen consoles did. I think it would be utterly fantastic to add elements of 'epicness' to the game. Think Shadows of the Colossus. I don't really know how that would translate in this game, or even if it would translate well. I just think it's something that's drastically lacking in games these days and would help the success.

Just imagine Borderlands, except more mobile, mixed with the occasional Giant monster you have to use the enviro to defeat. Granted I don't know the technical side of game programming but the thought of that makes me drooool

Dan: great dynamics and shape to your characters very awesome! And inspiring.

Partisan: that that perfect crime song is incredible i love it.

Koudeejust keep it up man as long as you develop your skill dont worry to much about pressure or being no1 it takes time to get more complicated and intricate but your doing great i would say, i've done some 3d for manufacturing part modeling on solid works very similar to autocad, 3d modeling is a whole new ball game lol, keep at it!

I'm sure that Dan will end up taking this and turning it into something awesome, but here is a quick sketch I did to iron out some of the design for Sparky that I did earlier in the week. I was hoping to finish it, but as the documents are taking so long, I thought I'd post it anyway. Ideally her boots could do with being some sort of creation combining the long fall boot in Portal/Portal 2, with a pair of new rocks, and then bound to her legs.... but I ran out of free time

    General.
    Thanks for the thumbs up.

    &
Want a collab Rinibee? I can draw something like I did before for Sparky - rough and tuff (if possible)
based on your latest; you can then work over it and design to your hearts content and then I could render
    it out if you want.
It's rather unkind in a sense - or like Sickbrush said yesterday as he was working on my character he got
the dirty work and I got the fun part of the rough sketch.

But ~ still you have been working on her for some time now - might be good to get the design more or less
as you want - I'd just help with the general pose and final look if so.
