Ok this is way too awesome a gathering of artists to not get involved. I offer this small token of appreciation to what is being done here; whether it's useful or not.

M: Just sick as always dude! And awesome video!!!

Sickbrush: Nice enviro-sketch! You guys are killin this, where can I pre-order this game? haha

AdrianNagorski: Keep up the good work dude, I still see little improvements each time, some of the formwork I see on your landscapes I'd like to see creep into your characters and creatures, remember to stay loose and have fun!

Farquad: Awesome robodude!! May need a bit of tweaking to make it fit into to post apocalyptic world but still kick@$$!!!

Awesome stuff SMILEFACE! Your scraggly beard suits the post apoc theme very well! haha

Fetcsh! Awsome new creature, I like all the scissor-like appendages, def would be creepy to encounter in a game!

May start doing some more stuff for this cuz I feel very bored waiting for some weeklies to end and others to begin....

Some more muzak! Check My Brain!

Ok, some characters I made...well actually silhouettes of characters, but you get the picture....I work fairly slow when it comes to characters, in the time it took me to make these two I'm sure people of superior skill would've had both of these rendered...

no matter Rob, the silhouettes are great! I'm always lazy with my own. I was doing something similar last night, i'll update a bit later.

btw, do you mind me taking them over for an overpaint?

so finally I got something to post ^^ took me some time because I wanted to do it right ^^ .

I spent some time on thinking what the "Authority" could be and I came to the following conclusion:

The Authority is a extraterrestrial race, they a a race of flesh-formers and sculptors with superior skills in genetic-engineering, what they do is they assault inhabited planets enslave the local population and then start to transform them into lobotomized hunchbacks to sell them to other alien-races as cannon fodder in their never ending wars. They would be the ultimate reason why this planet is "wasted" ...my two cents

the picture shows a Authority-Commander with a pack of his best hunters.

and a song that sums up the feeling I have about them ( but dont think about the lyrics just the overall feeling matters ...even though even the lyrics fit them quite well ^^)

    so long
    Seb

That makes sense; if you invaded an industrialised world, particularly if the environment is hostile to your particular form, you could use borged natives to irradicate or capture their uninfected fellows and run their machines and other military and industrial manufacturing equipment without having to learn its specifics yourself.

This is the exact plot of The Tripods by John Christopher, both the books and the unbearably tense 80s TV version I highly recommend.
