The Beastmasters of the Nur Ýlrien tribe of the north are some of the most feared warriors in the entire known world. With the great wild forests surrounding their camps and huts, the tribe has had to learn how to communicate with the minds of beasts and animals to their aid.
This is Ivan, an Owl-master. He can call upon the all-seing eyes of the forests owls, at night or day, to spot his enemies or prey. Or he can call upon the strength of a thousand talons ascending from the sky to aid in his battles.
Also, the Owl-masters are often the wisest and natural leaders of the Beastmaster caste.

This was a fun round people! Great work from everyone!

I started a lot of characters for this one and tried out a bunch of different animal themes. In the end, I went with the bird theme, even though it seems quite strongly representated already, judging from the WIP thread.

    Vermin Master

Always at the bottom of social circles, the Vermin Master quickly found refuge below the city where he mastered his affinity for Rats and Vermin. From there he plots his revenge for all the wrong-doings in his life.

Loved this round, so much good work, both original and stylistically strong. Congrats to everyone!

Beastmaster - Frozen Tundra - Snow Leopard

Had a lot of fun with this one. Some really inspirational work this round!

I originally come from South Africa and so used some local influences in my concept.
Main inspiration comes from Zulu Warriors & Samurai Armour.

Repeated Design theme is based around the Snow Leopards Claw

Just some of my thoughts as I was working out the design.

Race of Dark Skinned men, Exiled to the Frozen lands.
    Skin Dyed dark blue/black
They are a hardy race (+Frost resistance racial) and usually tatoo their bodies with leopard 'spots'
Armour is based on the animals they hunt - Sabre Tigers, Snow Leopards, Wolverines, Seals, Yeti...
The shouder armour is indictive of rank. Lower ranks wear smaller and less impressive skulls.
As a man rises through the ranks of the tribe he has to undertake progresively more difficult tasks, usually in the form of a dangerous hunt.
The Beastmaster pictured here is a senoir within the tribe. he is one of only a few men to wear the skull of a Yeti.

Zulu Which doctors were very scary individuals, called 'Sangoma'. They acted as magician, seers, medicine men, shamens for their people. Highly respected and feared by the superstitious tribes people.
Their prefered meathod of divination was through the reading of human & animal bones.
My Shaman is based more around a 'prophet' as opposed to a healer type.
He uses his bag of bones to allow he fellow team members to 'see into the future' basically allowing them greater pre-emptive attacks & defense.
He also uses various potions to create 'smoke screens' These are stored on his belt in the skulls of smaller prey.

Main weapon = Derivative of Zulu Assegia
Special Ability - medium range attack "IMPALE" . Immediately roots target in place, followed up by a shoulder charge which stuns the opponent for 3 secs. Cause instant & bleed damage. on a fairly long cool down.

Off hand - Kurki fang Dagger

Ranged weapon - thrown - 3 point ‘claw’ boomarang

    Relic - BAG OF BONES
(Equiped gives + to base stats)
Prophecy of bones - group buff - cannont cast on self

    Class Specific Special Ability
    Animal Affinity
    Family Bonus - Cats - +Agility
    Specific Bonus - Leopard - +Stealth/+Int.

Defense - Poisonous Egg Cloud - Stored in Skulls of small creatures
    Traps

Have to head out soon, so can't really finish this completely. Lots of things I would've like to add, plus skin is still pretty rough, but I feel it's complete enough. Great round though!

I had a lot of fun with this one

He is a master of reptilian beasts. After he killed an ancient evil dragon its magic penetrated his soul and gifted (or cursed) him with dragonblood, extending his lifespan. All reptilian beasts fear and revere him and see him as their master. With his advanced dragon senses he never misses his target.
