Here's a bunch more
Thanks for checking it out so far everyone!
I should probably work on some more color stuff I think...not as much pen and ink! Next post that's what I'll do!
I lied, no color stuf, lol...but more graphite this time! Used some Brian Froud references for study on goblin proportions. Love that stuff!

Reason: props to Brian Froud!
Cool stuff man, seems like youve been keeping busy
Maybe you have it already but I'd definately recommend picking up as many anatomy books as you can, maybe even a body building magazine . I suually use Richer's artistic anatomy, or goldfingers book. awesome stuff ^_^

Hi, you're doing a great amount of drawings which is a good sign that you're dedicated to improve. My only piece of advice would be to try and think three dimensionally!

Yes sir, I totally agree, thanks for the input!
Thanks for dropping by - my only advice to you right now is draw more and more - improvment will eventually come, whether you want it or not
PS!Ivan's advice is good - use photos, magazines paintings or as a refrence, but drawing from life is even better.

bunch o stuff from school
Here's some stuff that includes color, I got keep going on that. Have some gestures here too, and more intensive "from reference" works. Thanks everyone

Interesting drawings! I also really like how you did those gestures. Keep at it!

More sketches and some studies here...
Some charcoal (vine charcoal is such a pain!) studies with a model, and some ink works (I love ink, lol)
Couple color pieces and a thick line ink guitar sound hole.
Here I did a charcoal light study of my back patio, tried it twice, see what you think!
Some more completed charcoal projects with a model.
keep up the good work
progress will come in due time

Had to do some self-portraits, it's hard not to have a serious face doing these! lol, I'm not this composed in real life, haha.
Rocking chair series, had to create at least 6 panels at least 24" x 24" ,this was fun. Even though everything for school has killer deadlines, at least it gives you some direction! Sometimes when I'm working on my own stuff it's harder to stay focused, lol...
A signature I made for an online contest
