    monk wip

    here is an illustration that I have been working on. I think its almost done. just a background and a few finishing touches need to be added. It stated off as an experimentation with cloth but turned into a larger project.

    What do u guys think. any pointers?

    Before going to color you need to establish a direction for the light source. This image really needs that to unify the elements.

    Seems like a shame to have that lantern and then not do anything much with it light-wise. Also -- watch your proportions! Her head is huge in proportion to the rest of the body.

    Something more like this might work a little better:

    lola update

    here i have fixed the head proportions and developed the light source. i wanted the head to be more of a focal point then the lantern - Google Search, so i have desaturated certain area to make it an easier image to read.
