    Need critic!

    Hello guys.
I finished this work, but I am not so happy with the results.
What can I do to improve this painting and style?
Most of time, I suffer from painting being too flat and boring colors.
    Any suggestion for future work?
    Thank you ahead.

It's well drawn and nicely colored, but I'm having trouble reading it.

I think because there are a lot of objects in it and many are unfamiliar (the yak head thing is a sort of weapon she's wearing on her right hand? And the gray twisty thing tucked into her belt, what is that?). It needs to lead me around more clearly.

I can understand why you wouldn't want a more directional light source in a snow scene, so maybe...variations in line width or color?

I was once on the receiving end of a critique so savagely nasty, I marched straight out of class to the office and changed my major (sketchbook).

Yeah I agree very confusing; right now it looks like shes giving birth to a musk ox or something standing up. The body is non existent under those clothes. Draw it without the clothes first to work out correct anatomy.
