life scale comic book characters are pretty big right now.
I've always like the idea of having a life scale of a famous musician. My plan is to eventually sculpt tom waits.
Or any character from a Guillermo del Toro film. There's some ideas?

thanks jon im likeing the idear of del toros stuff though i want to avoid doing charecters that are heavily made up (whilst its not that easy to copy exactly some ones sculpt its a lot harder to recreate skin texture realisticaly.
some of the names i have considerd so far are vincent price (black cat era) peter lorry, alfred hitchcock or i thought it would be realy fun to do marty feldman.

Haha, Marty Feldman would be a very unusual sculpt, but out of the names you have there my vote would be Vincent Price. Tons of reference, and would definitely be a great challenge.
Or if you want a good skin texture challenge…Danny trejo. lol He's got an incredible face, which is why there's so much artwork out there of him.

What about Boris Karloff or Christopher Lee. They are always great to sculpt. Or Peter Cushing or Bella Lugosi

Seems everyone is going for a male model

I'd go for a Stan Lee 1:1 bust.
