Sam B's Portfolio
It had been awhile since I looked back on this, anyways, I was accepted. Thank you everyone for your suggestions.

Hmm, 300 views and no comments...
First of all if you really think your work sucks then why are you using it as your portfolio?
Presumably they want to see that you have the talent and drive to excel in their classes so why not spend the time to give your best work possible?
I would pick 3, 5, and 7.
8 looks a bit rushed, the proportions are off in 9, 7 is probably the best.

While as a student portfolio your current selection is very nice (particularly the one with the flower in colours and the pilot and the stilllife after him), it is unfortunately not comparable to what that Academy is showcasing as their student work.
I think you need to spend some of your spare time creating new pieces if you are really serious about applying to this school.
I know it can be tough finding the time when you're in college but if you really want to get in, you're have to pull some all nighters to create a portfolio of new and strong pieces. Work that you personally can feel satisfied with.

That being said, Munch, try applying with your best, and if they turn you down, don't be discouraged - just try harder and reapply.
