    Painter can't open psd....

...says, that there's not enough memory on the volume to work (the message is in german and i tried my best to translate it). The file is about 180mb ??? Any help is appreciated.

(Windows xp, 8 gb ram, 700 gb free space, painter 11)

I got this message when I had either adjustment layers or layer blending modes that painter doesn't support (linear/colour dodge, etc)
had to clean them up in PS and try it again

on the fourth day of glitchmas my painter™ gave to me
four random crashes, three broken brushes, two system hangups & one corrupted workspace

well, now it gets weird. after fiddling around with the layers with no effort, i tried to open the .bak file. that worked. then i tried again to open the psd and this time painter opened it.
