My sektch book i'm not really sure how to go about doing this so if i'm doing something wrong like creating a thread in the wrong area or something then by all means direct me to how i go about creating sketchbook.
just thought id udpate my sketchbook and put in all the studies ive done so far mainly focusing on faces cuz i suck at it, by the end of it i want to be able to draw a face off the top of my head without it looking stupid.
did some imagination stufff,
some study balls to recap the lighting and tones i used.
more stuff from photo and imagination still trying to work on my faces
tried doing the entire body but the face was taking me way too long and it still doesnt look right but im happy with the result of the rendering.
might work a little more on the hair later though my main focus is faces.
Some pretty nice poses in your sketches.
That last face feels good. I think the proportions are right, only the tip of the nose could use a little more "volume", I would try to soften the shadow edge.
Same goes for the lips at the right part, they feel a little flat.
Still struggeling with faces myself, so keep it up.
learnt a lot from this piece, i have to thank daniel warren from daniels danger room stream for helping out with this
its still not done yet been working on and off it
but its getting there.
learnt a new method of rendering with this one
so im happy with the outcome.
great stuff so far
my suggestion would have been to stop avoiding hands / feet, but your already on top of that so carry on and happy sketching
tried to do facial texture
turned out okay i guess.
trying to apply some colours of the top of my head,
havent really been working on this
had too much uni work and other things to do
but i still do my studies everyday.
concept art for fantasy
little red riding hood concept
never really done a full on perspective scene before
i have basic idea of how it works.
more updates on some work.
and some more work on this which i feel is incorrect already.
playing round with some colour
figure still needs alot of work.
some background art for uni project
more to come
had to cut the size down.
over 20 hours.
working on my imaginary environment stuff
heres another scene lineworked.
been a year of improvements in rendering but little in actual anatomy
which i hope to focus more on this year.
SOME OLDER STUFF
