My sektch book i'm not really sure how to go about doing this so if i'm doing something wrong like creating a thread in the wrong area or something then by all means direct me to how i go about creating sketchbook.

just thought id udpate my sketchbook and put in all the studies ive done so far mainly focusing on faces cuz i suck at it, by the end of it i want to be able to draw a face off the top of my head without it looking stupid.

did some imagination stufff,
some study balls to recap the lighting and tones i used.

jj portrait study
tried doing the entire body but the face was taking me way too long and it still doesnt look right but im happy with the result of the rendering.
might work a little more on the hair later though my main focus is faces.

Some pretty nice poses in your sketches.
That last face feels good. I think the proportions are right, only the tip of the nose could use a little more "volume", I would try to soften the shadow edge.
Same goes for the lips at the right part, they feel a little flat.
Still struggeling with faces myself, so keep it up.

learnt a lot from this piece, i have to thank daniel warren from daniels danger room stream for helping out with this
its still not done yet been working on and off it
but its getting there.

my suggestion would have been to stop avoiding hands / feet, but your already on top of that so carry on and happy sketching

tried to do facial texture
turned out okay i guess.
