Another wannabe !!!!!!!!!!!
Hello, As you can see my title, well that says it all, trying to get better and hope I be as great as the great artists I look up too in here and inspire me to continue to try to live my dream. I'm a late bloomer but I have been drawing since I was a kid on and off. I went to school for computer animation and that never worked out because I never had that fire, passion as I have it in concept art and/or illustration and even though my teenage years I had a passion for street art/urban art and still do. I just love all types of art and really love originality in the art itself. I don't how I would incorporate that in this field so I continue to study on my own figure drawing and try to improve on my anatomy, figure, and character designs. I also traditional paint on the side which is something I do on the side and really learning, don't think I am great but I'm learning something. Well in all I'm here to transition to digital painting and really make great stories with the pieces as well as to really be as a great as all the artists i look up to. Well any critiques are very welcome and thank you for at least looking at my sketch book.

I just got back from small vacation with family took my sketch book with me but really couldn't get the time to put in some sketches. Anyways this is what happens when you skip gesture drawing for a week , i'm not happy about it but here it is, couple of face studies and gesture drawings with the gesture drawing tool. Will update daily from now on, Thanks.

Looks like you're doing the right things to me, keep on those life drawings. I think your paintings look a lot better than your pencil work because you don't have a lot of line confidence.
Practice some contours, move the pencil slowly, try to get more variation in the quality of the lines too. (thick/thin, dark/light, curves)
