Thread: Journeyman Sculpt

Whelp! I finally posted this here. I regularly check these forums to keep motivated and inspired. Now that i've graduated and have time to manage all my work. BTW it is very annoying figuring out the right size for uploading here ;d
This is a culmination of several class projects that I tailored myself. I ended up making this character package. First came the initial sketch/ design, then the maquette, and finally for animatics class I did this short story exploration.
I know this section is exclusively 3D but it all goes together so I hope you don't mind!
This is sculpey 50/50 sculpey regular and firm, glass eyes, epoxy/ armature wire.

Very well done.....I do a lot of frogs myself, and yours is great. Wonderful character....you can look at him and feel the story unfold, even if you don't know what the story is, you can tell he is true character.

I really like this a lot! Frogs are fun to sculpt, this one has a LOT of character.
