Hey everybody, i'm a 20 years old french boy, just trying to get better and better. And for improve skills there is no secret = work work and huh.. work !
So if you see something wrong or errors (and God know there are many !) please don't hesitate to post ! =)
here a little speed painting :
Some recents sketch from life an sitting poses from imagination :
Here a plaster done in art school (6 hours) and photoshop speeds. I just finished a first year in art school and I never really draw before that, so at the beginning it was really really hard for me, but now I've got somes of the basics I think...
Wow.. I love the texture of those rocks in that last painting you did. As for the first sitting figure, try to draw the feet and if theyre too hard to draw, then draw some wedges as a basic shape. It's important for showing perspective in your figures.
Hope this helps! Good luck!
yep, like it, unusual stuff. keep it going and youll be shit hot in no time.

FredAs : Thanks for reply ! I'm trying to follow you advice : I've making sketchs for simplifying feets first and I'll continue until I feel comfortable enough with to draw the shapes without thinking too much about it, after maybe i'll get more into details. Feets hands and the neck are my principals difficulties ><
Velocity Kendall : Thanks ! I hope you will be right ^^
Somes of today's works : a quick study on photoshop from observation, somes fast gestures based on photos, and feets sketches from imagination (and the help of Burne Hogarth's dynamic anatomy book) ^^
very nice studies, keep it up
"First ask yourself: What is the worst that can happen? Then prepare to accept it. Then proceed to improve on the worst.”
Ogihara : Thanks ^^
Today's works, somes gestures from today session (20 gestures per day based on photos).
There is also a study based on a screenshot completetly missed, I didn't handled it well and I did another study more simple from observation for not remaining in a bad feeling =)
And of course today's feet studies :
Nice foot studies! (I don't usually put too much effort into my feet.)
Everything is better with dinosaurs.
Brandon Pilcher : Thanks =)
So here somes today's work, not a really good day I tried to make a self portrait with gouache but I didn't succed to make something presentable, same with today photoshop's study , hope tomorrow will be a better day ><
So here somes gestures and feets sketches based on photos.
Hey, welcome here! Nice sketchbook, waiting for more..
Some of today's gestures and a quick something i did on photoshop don't really know what is it, sort of a spaceship I guess xD

Today's work =)
Somes gestures and a study on photoshop based on photos (need to work my brush strokes more), anatomy drawings based on Loomis books and Hogarth's dynamic anatomy and finals feets sketchs for this moment. I've done 50 feets sketchs now I'll do 50 torso (10 per day).
Your sketches do a good job of capturing the subject's movement. I would have to say that is thing I am most enjoying about your sketches.
Delicious Egnaro : thanks but I really need to make clear strokes I think sometimes the results is too rough :/
Today I start an other self portrait, I just blocked in the mass and started to construct, it's on grey paper with just a hb pencil but when i scan we can't see clearly, tomorrow i'll add some values with conté pencil and post the result
Here a little sketch, if you have coments you're welcome ^^
