carpe diem - phobetors painted journal
This it where it begins.
I hope that somewhere in the future will laugh about what i post(ed) these days. How else could I make sure that i improved?
I am from Cologne Germany hoping that the day will come that i will be able to do painting as a living.
I am currently doing an aprentiship and spend a lot of time in the office.
So I can't guarantee to post regularly.
let's start off with painted stuff:

Nice landscapes phobetors!
I think you should do more work on the faces, the look kinda of distorted.

argh it's so annoying to know you would be some steps ahead if you just did not have RSI-Problems preventing you from painting for more than 8 months. But I'm happy that i am able to paint now. ^^
@Henrique Ventura: Yeah, I definitely have to practice on that. As long as i copy faces from photos and stuff its always okay. But as soon as I start it from imagination it turns out like above. i guess some are really crap some other I think are oooookay. ^^
1. A commission. The bull is not really my favorite motive, but a friend wants it like that. Still work in progress as you can see.
2. Short soft valued sketch out of midtone greys.

i want to take part in the skribble contest at deviantart, this is where i am at the moment.
things that still need to be done:
-the rocks in the background,
-details in the foreground
but my real problem is the foregroundcolour. i am not very satisfied with it, do you people have any suggestions?
too me it is to monochrom but which colour should i add?
the colourmood i wanted to achieve should be a little like in this awesome piece: http://kerembeyit.deviantart.com/gal...et=24#/d1qbpe7

my hands are starting to hurt again if even just a little.
but whatever, it went away the last time, so it will now... hopefully.
i am currently to lazy to photograph and upload the traditional stuff i did ^^
maybe over the next weeks. this is my last week of vacation. in april i will have my job-related exams as an editor and i am moving to cologne as well. after that there will hopefully be more paintings and drawings of mine.
