some more sketches
aprox 30 min drawings of buildings
badass stuff... those pencil drawings are cool, do you use perspective grids to draw your sketches, or just lay down the buildings for the sake of practice ?
Nice! You're great at architecture.
Everything is better with dinosaurs.
The colors on the three posted at 6:30 pm are amazing. They're the kind of art I'd want to hang on my wall. I love architecture, but I don't think I'd ever be able to draw it.
thanks for the feedback. 3 more. i will try uploading more drawings if i have the time to do so
hope you like them
thanks guys ! more drawings
my first photoshop drawing. used the mouse .. i don't have a tablet...yet
Very nice architecturial pieces - esp. the first, #4, #6 and the last piece in post #12.
& it Will be fun to see how the digital goes
Wow! DariusDS your drawings are wonderful! As a matter of fact, now that I have see these I want to try my hand at drawing some buildings, ha ha.
Lovely ink and watercolor works
The buildings are done really well.
thanks guys for your appreciation. here are some pastel works done a few years ago
second ps drawing... from reference
Nice drawings - and interesting to see you do a digital ref painting.
I would suggest to chill a bit with the hardness of the brushes with the digital - esp. given the contrast to the last piece.
thanks dan for the suggestion. more please. i have no idea what digital painting means so please share more if you have the time . hope i will have the money to buy a tablet... since then mouse for me and good ol' watercolors. much appreciated..
Oh you are using a mouse
I don't think it will benefit you too much to actually paint in digital compared to oil/acrylic and watercolours if you have to do it with a mouse.
I'd suggest doing more paths/illustrator stuff and play with shapes instead of painting too much (you can do a lot of nice experimentation in photoshop) - perhaps even print stuff out and paint over it with acrylics/water or opaque markers.
Could also scan inks and watercolours and edit them - gradients and large soft brushes along with paths and blending modes still work do you.
And as for the weirdness - it's mostly just about letting go and boredome (surprising yourself and so on).
some thumbnails and sketches. hope u enjoy
I'm glad seeing someone doing some old-fashioned aquarel drawings!
Your paintings bring a lot of emotion and atmosphere. Colors are great, perspective is great.. What else can I say?
Oh, and good luck with your architecture studies!
some more studies/thumbnails/sketches. hope u like them
