    Sebs sketchbook - *Update last page*

    Hi All, big huge fan of Concept art, I thought i would start up a sketchbook! My main goal is to get good enough to be of those artists who wows everyone in the finally finished section =D

    Comments and crits are more than welcome.

    First up some sketches done for fun =) if you're interested you can check out my proffesional work on my art blog in my sig.

    yea man! hellboy is looking great!i think the rim lighting could be toned back a bit, and maybe some of that yellow light should also be reflected in the god in the bg, but other than that hes looking bad ass!

    nice! the last two came out great! yea, i think the toned back rim lighting is working alot better now. helps to push the forms some more. also, love the finished energy supe! came out nice!

    Thanks Quasar. When i started the sketch i didnt use any refs, but now that i am rendering it up I have a few pics of Gary Busey up on the screen to help with the crazyness haha. I'm thinking of shooting a quick ref of myself for lighting also to help out.

    and here is a bit more on Bizarro. I think its going well but i'm a bit unsure about the colours...

    I decided to scrap the Bizarro and start again, he was just coming off too much like Freddy Krueger. I like the new one a lot more.
