    The sleeves seem a little droopy on the man in your last sketch. The construction lines and strong figure / ground relationship make up for it.

    @xbert - Hehe, thanks duuude. It's just because I'm always screwing around and I never finish them.

    @asa - Awesome, thanks!

    @jedininjaman - Okay, I'll look into it, thanks!

    I'm probably . . . hopefully going to scrap all of this work:

    Hehe, it figures that I post paintings and everyone compliments me on my drawings. I get the hint.

    @xinranliu & Bakeer - Thanks!

    Here's the final painting.

    you can paint the shit out of wings.
    love the two versions of the hero/skeleton theme. its cool how it looks likeyre on the same team, adds narrative interest. that is all.

    @Velocity Kendall - Thanks man! I do love wings. I basically just slap wings on everything I possibly can. And thanks, it's good to hear that the hero/skeleton-buddy relationship came through. That was for an ArtOrder challenge. The line-up just got posted today, here.

    @PS Zant - Haha, sounds slightly painful. Thanks!

    Some little dragons from today, graphite. I desperately need to figure out how to get my drawing into my paintings.

    Oh, and if anyone feels so inclined, check out my website, recently redone. Everything half-decent from this sketchbook is on there, plus earlier stuff.

    @Fetsch - Thanks V. Yeah, I'm going to try and do some more character stuff soon.

    @knut- - Thanks!

    A little technique test or something inspired by the masterful Velocity Kendall, specifically this image: http://attachments.conceptart.org/fo...1&d=1326813451 Unfortunately my cheap scanner destroys the mid-tones.

    Nice values in the last drawing.
    I love that baby dragon! I can already see him coughing up a bit of fire
    The oils are great, as always!

    @Luckers - Hehe, awesome! Thanks! I'll get over and raid your sketchbook sometime soon.

    @Flashback - Thanks! Hmm, I should check out your SB as well.

    @Velocity Kendall - Hehe, thanks! Glad you like it. Sure, link away.
    Ahhhhh, yes. Inka Essenhigh. I haven't looked at her stuff for years, these look awesome, thanks!
    And Levi, yeah, I kinda bombed that one. But oh well, it was educational.

    I'm doing some sketching, trying to figure out this bat-guy image. I just took a picture of my desk this time, it makes it look like I'm actually working. Haha.

    Oh man, I swear I posted an update in here. But it does not seem to be here. Oh well, at least I remember what I did.

    Just swung by to see whats nes mate and I have to say that post 316 took me to a strange land !! LOL, I liked the following sketches too I dont know what you intended for them but I sort of get a pained or even stiffened Zombies feel to him, cant explain the cape/ wings though, I will go and root out a bottle of whiskey and see if that puts me on the right road !!

    all the very best to you my mate, keep it coming and thanks for the SB visit by the way I always appreciate your comments.

    Hey again, Mr. Corlan. Thank for topping by my sketchook. And thanks for the crits and the drawing.
    The progress on the last piece is looking good. I do however think that the dark backside of his wing is demanding a bit too much attention. Maybe by increasing the rest of the darks that would be less the case. The rest is looking great!

    @Lightship69 - Hey Lightship! Haha, nah, don't worry, you're not off down the wrong road, it's just me. But enjoy the whiskey. Likewise, you're always appreciated! I still have to get around to following your last two comments. Cheers!

    @Luckers - You're welcome. And thanks that's a good point, I haven't quite solved it yet, but I will.

    @Mangix - Thanks!

    @Luckers - Yeah, thanks for that tip-off.

    @Flashback - Sure, no problem.

    OK, this is pretty much the final drawing. Special thanks to Lightship for mentioning that the wings looked like a cape; I stopped screwing around, did some studies, and made them proper wings.

    [Edit] Scratch that, and make it Definitely Final. Image Changed.
