Some stuff by Feng Zhu that was apropos.

A good portion of these are Environmental, he's got some pretty awesome stuff in there for characters as well, but I thought this would be cool for people to check out, there is a lot of stuff to digest in his videos, plus they're free.

So i was watching a youtube music video and it actually has some great inspiration if you look closely, its called Of Monsters and Men - Little Talks. There are some environmental ideas in there, like the balloon, the cave, and the temple looking thing. Links not working so you can look it up if you want.

with the forum change we're gonna need a new banner for the activity, perhaps that could be a decent way of kicking of the updated forums.

Probably should wait for the final look though.

This guy (BASTIEN GRIVET) uses texture and digital painting flawlessly. Great scale and atmosphere. Hope the art brings much inspiration.

Any need for keeping this as a sticky?
We have THIS forum category as well, so posting there should be more useful I guess.

    But it's up to you.
    Please drop your opinion.

As the person who suggested it for ideas to inspire environments in the EOW I'm all for keeping it stickied. Although there is so much going on in that prior thread, I think maybe linking that one from this one, and having people put their inspirations there would be good enough for the purpose I envisioned for this thread. The other one seems to have pics, in this one we were linking to other sites like Nat Geo, etc.

If you want to add that sort of traffic to the other site I think we could sticky this one and add something about visiting the other link in the Opening post, with a big bold link to the other thread.
