You should be made an example of! This is a really great sketchbook #fivestarsfromme. I think the consistancy in your studies shows how focused you are and the improvements are really inspiring. I would definitely be happy if I could achieve this. The environments are great and I'm gonna have a look at some of your links, thanks. The cathedral interior in post 66 is stunning. I personally would not use a ruler when drawing structures, better to have slightly wobbly lines in sketches and artwork. Save the straight edges for technical drawings, axonometrics / isometrics etc. Take care and keep it up.
The1CalledTess Thank you !!
bbwolf Hey! thanks for the kind words, and your frequent visitations ! You're keeping me motivated
Hi Dayle, many many thanks for taking the time to write smth here!! All these compliments are overwhelming haha :p I'm glad you like some of my work
And hey, if you're interested, i would be glad to send you some more reference/tutorial links.. just ask (:
oh, and thanks for the stars man!
new batch of studies!
Love the painterly particular style of yours on the landscape studies. Great!
Regarding the last photo study, looks to gradient like to me, to much rendering.
I don't really feel those edges. Might be the ref though.
nice environments and studies dude, especially that last tree one.

BlackDelphin Thanks for the comment ! And yeah, you're right. I'm having problems with shading nudes.. I can't seem to find a right way to render it properly without over-rendering like you mentioned.. But i'm working on that (;
blazingdimensions Thank you for the kind words!

Tried some gestures from imagination
! no ref used !
These gestures look pretty well ! Im just wondering how long did you take for each one ?
Pere colateur I think they were about 5 minutes each
GpozzoThanks man! will do
I think i'm gonna dedicate this week to portraits
Another bunch of gestures from imagination
to do list:
-Hands & feet
I hate drawing hands, they're so hard to get them right :/
I've got more portrait studies, but they're too awkward to post :p
cool updates, very nice sketches.
the moving gestures from imagination are cool
A tutor once said to me: "Let your mind go!" and it didnīt come back.

bbwolf Thanks man! Your comments keep me going (;
Okay.. I've had my first model drawing class, and it was much harder then expected!
This is what i've made of it
and some herikoptah's!
hey, thanks for your kind words on my SB. Just went through your pages here. Good thing is that every time I found something I could suggest you managed to sort that out couple of posts later. So your improvements are noticable. I like the gestures from imagination on post #193 but I would love to see you drawing them with at least some basic hands shapes on all figures. It will be step out of comfortable area, but it helps. You seem to skip that part pretty often Keep on cool updates!
Jr.Molcak Ha! You've noticed that right :p I always tend to leave out hands and feet, but i'm gonna work on that
and thanks for the comment!

Hi Jarkuzy, you have amazing stuff here!! I'm so impressed by your aircrafts, and your gesture drawings from imagination (they look even better than the ones you've used reference with!!!!)
The photo studies also look awesome, how do you proceed them? they seem to have this texturey and sharp look to them, I've always wished I could do that. It makes it look SOO cool!!

Cabbage Caterpillar You're so kind, thank you for the compliments! for my studies, I try to work with lasso tool when possible for hard edges, the rest is textured brushes (and trying to use them right :p)
I had 20 + more studies but I somehow lost them when I've put the layer invisible and then merged it whith another :/
