I finished the environment design homework piece for college and now I'm moving to do the Final Project for my 14 months long course on Concept Design. I'm excited and I have a project idea that I know I'll enjoy very much. I'm going to do character, environments, props and a couple of spaceships designs based on my all time favorite book series, The Hyperion Cantos. Specifically doing designs for the 3rd book in the series called Endymion with really great characters such as Raul Endymion, Aenea, A.Bettik the android and others. I'm in love with those books, they (together with Harry Potter books) got me back to consistent reading habits. I'm mighty thankful for that.
I'll update more on the final project as I go along with it.
A few updates from the last week or two.

College is done, I handed in my final project. I had a weird feeling that I didn't accomplish enough but I was definitely wrong, on the contrary, even though I filtered 90% of the work and concentrated only on the characters I still managed to create satisfactory characters and was able to battle through the whole process of frustration and divide my time fairly and not cram the whole project in the last possible minute. The characters are satisfactory but it's not enough. I'll work on my ability to create better looking characters.
What's next for me after finishing this 14 months long course? Well, I'm going to sign up with a few friends for the Level Up program here on conceptart.org and work on it together. Take some acting classes, freelance and work tirelessly on my precious project, Wolfgang's Quest which might receive a new name soon enough!
Well, cheers. Some updates including two model sheets for the characters for my final project that were discarded.
Betty86 - Much appreciated ! I'm still trying to get a comfortable feeling with what I'm doing with my characters and just the ongoing line style.
fatman274 - Thanks! I'm glad it is inspiring ^_^
2014 is almost over, so far I've been slowly increasing my creative output and improving my skill. 2014 was great and I can't even begin to see how much I learned this year, all I know is that I struggled a lot and it paid off in me getting some freelance work and feeling like this art thing is a bit more understandable for me. Now I have more questions as to why certain things are and how do they work and how do they change under different conditions. The never ending adventure to get better.
Danny - Thanks a bunches man, we shall talk some more then.
An update. My style has evolved a bit more, I think. Those things are hard to tell apart but I compared it to my other works and changed my workflow a bit, so I'm getting more cleaner results so to speak.
I'm doing those level up studies, I've accumulated 9 this far. I don't really want to put them here as well.
Cheers for now!
p.s - apparently I can't arrange images at all without them appearing twice in a post :/
Les updates for mah sketchupbook.
I'll upload more sketchbook doodles as well, I'm getting to a point where my style becomes more fluid and more cartoon like. I love it, that's what I want to do. I want to distinguish a little more though.
Drank some alcohol this weekend, was fun, even drew in the bar with some friends and it was fun
