    Brand New Artist Here :D

Well, I'm not a New Artist, Just new to this forum.

I'm 22 and have been interested in Concept Art as long as I could remember. I'm going into my Senior year of College as a Printmaker (It's different, but a lot of fun!), But what I'm really interested in is Writing comics and graphic novels. At the same time though, I'd like to draw out all the ideas for characters and such myself.

Anyways, Enough of the intros, You don't really care about that (or do you?). Let's get to the Art! A lot of this is brand new, some is a bit older but most of it will be from within the last year. Critiques are more than welcome!

Here's a group of big cards I made that I turned into Screen-prints for a class (Sorry I don't have good photos of the actual screenprints)

Those are some cool cards. Looks good, except the Jack's arms are too short. Some anatomy practice would go a long way toward proportions, keep it up.

    scared of kpop ?

I like the detail you put into everything, but where your characters faces look very real and alive, their bodies look a little awkward. Like the first and the fourth card in your last post. Maybe doing some anatomy or gesture drawing exercises would help with that

I must agree with Lumen. The effort you put in to the details is wonderful and shows how much you care, but the disproportionate bodies are very distracting.

However, I really like the joker card you did. Something about it that makes me want to stare at it more... What I enjoy more than that one is the girl with the knife.

You've got some nice stuff going on here. The newest batch of faces looks good, but all of the mouths seem a little to skewed to the left. Do you use construction lines when drawing heads? I think it would help if you laid down the basic placement of the features before jumping into any details.

    Lookin' good, keep it up

Some good stuff - I agree with the proportions and anatomy - The Jack looks likes h has breasts, otherwise some great stuff. Liking the redesigned batman cast.
