Sargent Study made today:
Portrait study of Maura Davis, from Ambulette:
damn - everything from the third image down are just solid (I kind of like the first female study as well - but its' a bit wonky and there is something with the colours and how you mixed them that makes her feel a bit desaturated/dirty - you use the same strokes later on other pieces and on say the Sargent studies you instead got vibrant colours so could be the ref you used just as well.
Either way really nice

dan liimatta: Thanks! yeah, I realize that dirty thing you were talking about, was more of a test, I'll try to keep an eye on this for upcoming work
Sketch of a girl, will try to get it right later

I really like your colors and the way your handling the digital paint! They've got a loose/gestural quality, but the studies also have clarity to them!

You've got a sharp eye for colors ! I particularly like the second study you posted! And, curiosity, what is the cryptcrawler technic? (cause i think the metal looks really great on your drawing hehe)
The Following User Says Thank You to Kiwee For This Useful Post:
viki oh: thanks! very hard for me to get that on my works D:
[ste]: Thanks man, like a month from now I will have more time to study, now I don't have enough time D:
Kiwee: Thanks! the technic uses dodge tool with big texture brushes and then smudge and brush to make it look better, it's really not that hard. \o/
Here's some more stuff, soon I'll get my scanner to work and scan some pencil sketches
