Buying an Le Motion 1700: Issues or advice
So yeah, its not a wacom brand, but it is one of the heavy contenders for wacom alternatives.
I have been thinking about getting one. I have been reading through the archives on peoples advice. Seems mostly one or two people commenting on it, and they were old so I figured the issue was worth a resurrection.
Anybody have knowledge, expeirence etc with these tablets?
Its only 256 levels of pressure, but most people have said that doesn't matter to much. Plus, I think I can get one for like 500 dollars. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I'm not sure how hard you've been looking as this thread is 4 pages long and you would have learned it actually does use wacom technology.

Photoshop may give you some trouble, but Paint Tool Sai, Sketchbook Pro, and Artrage will work phenomenally on it. I don't have the 1700, but I have its younger brother, the 8.4 inch Ls800. Runs really warm, but works like a charm.

Run it at a smaller resolution for sketches and scale up and finish it on the desktop.
