"Oh good, my slow clap processor made it into this thing."

    Hi there,

I was lurking in the dark for some time now, watching those awesome sketchbooks here. Now i finally found the guts to post some of my own sketches.
I would really appreciate critique, since this is my first attempt in posting some of my newer doodles on the internet

So i hope you like it and you will hear from me soon (hopefully ^^)

Hey thanks for passing by my sketchbook! So, you are starting out one right? That's great!! Well, let me be the first to comment on it then

I can tell from what you've posted that you've got a good amount of imagination and ideas to explore in ullustrations! The elephant game controller is quite cool, well, in fact the entire illustration is good! Good job on that.

You may practice some more with pencil shading to find lights and volume, and then move on to some colors, that way you could clean up your technique ^^

Well, hope to see some more of you soon!

@darkthur: thanks a lot for the comment and the tip. I will try to improve

But for now only a small update. I was listening to the Portal2 Soundtrack today, and felt the desire to do something different to what i usually draw. So I started EvE and drew one of my ships. The first one is from the game, the second one is my own design. I don't usually draw technical stuff, since i really suck at it and I'm more into fantasy, but when i was finished with it, it felt really good. I drew the small bugs next to the ships because the Amarr ships always remind me of insects and animals. When i was done with the design i had to draw a spacechick as well. I like her skintight suit.
And after all the Scifi stuff, drawing a pirate seemed the right thing to do ^^

Enjoy and have a nice evening ^^

The painting at the top is really creative. I notice new things each time I look at it!

Thanks for the nice comments all

The last three days really sucked because I had a constant tummyache.. it is a little better now but I miss eating cake and everything that is not soup :/
Well, since i was not able to concentrate on something, I only doodled around. I tried some of the 60 second gestures on different sites, but it really sucked. It upsets me when and i try to get it right and then there is the next pose already there ^^'
Having no time limit and drawing with my pen was more relaxing.

Ah yeah.. I really hate my scanner. It is 15 years old and I really should think about saving up money for a new one.

ohh, i really like the surrealism of the first three pictures in this thread, and that latest pirate pic.
    gute ideen schon mal, weitermachen!

    And (self)motivation is still everything.

    Tadaaa..

First, Thanks Carni. Ich versuche mich schon fleißig an figure drawing, aber ich bin ehrlich enttäuscht von mir. Well well, Übung macht den Meister ^.^

Todays update is not really an update. Since I felt better today (I can eat fruit and cake again, yay) I was out shopping for a new sketchbook and some pens. I used up my gift certificates that I got from my last birthday and hope I get new ones for my birthday next week
There are some messy sketches like the two-headed bunny thing. It is the pre-sketch for something I'm working on canvas right now. And a sketch from my tauren shaman, when I was still playing WoW <.<

Ok, too much typing for a sketchbook thread anyway. If you wanna know something, just ask

I was pretty busy the last two weeks so no time for updating. My brain is exploding >.<
