I just had a bit of a transient experience

So I was waiting out behind some buildings for a pizza I ordered (to-go at the back door), when I caught a pidgeon flutter out the corner of my eye. I turn to look and a bush rustles, and out pops this homeless guy, seemingly out of thin air. He waddled off with a couple pidgeons following behind him.

I pay it no mind. Then this guy comes back, walking through the restaurant courtyard with two more guys behind him, and at each table, he rooted through the ashtrays for cigarette butts.

Now, maybe he just wants to combine what's left of the nicotine to make more smokes, but it occured to me, they might make a great spell reagent for the next installment of Transient. If Coro's still reading on here at all...

I was waving to catch a bus today and a homeless guy had his cock out and was peeing on the middle of the sidewalk next to were i stood to wait for it, i was bummed already and homeless pee on my shoes was the last thing i needed in order to make my day shinier.

Though i manage to jump out of his radius of action soon enough. Not thanks to him, dude didnt even flinch as people passed.

My personal transient experience of the day.

My grammar police skills are a bit rusty. But, is this called a "split infinitive?"

Btw, my sister does happen to be more keen of vagrants, she manages to take some pretty good photos of those subjects. She has a ton.

I do remember showing her Coros`s concept art for that project, is more of her allley.

I'm not sure. It just struck me as amusing!

[But, I'm guessing that breaking it down into two sentences would work.]

I'm still not sure if it is a "split infinitive." (I only aspire to be a grammar snob!)

An example of a split infinitive: "to boldly go"

    Corrected: "to go boldly"

    That is all.

I went out with a friend two weeks ago and as we were eating our fast food there was a homeless fellow with the most endearingly sad puppy dog eyes I've ever seen. He asked for a bit of money so he could buy himself some food, and I offered to buy it for him - given the problems that some people have.. but he refused and just asked for the money. This rang alarm bells in my head but still the puppy dog eyes won me over.

About an hour later my friend and I were in the bottle shop (Where they sell alcohol) to get a 6-pack to take home and stopped in front of the homeless man buying himself 2 cans of Jack Daniel's. The puppy dog eyes turned to barbed arrows because I caught him for the liar that he was.

Anyway. That was my transient experience.

I thought the title would have something to do with Transient Man, I love that story.

I had a spooky zombie/transient experience walking past Waitrose at night, they had just closed and thrown out all the 'bad' food into the skips, as soon as the staff disappeared about 5 people materialised from different places and shuffled over to the skip to start foraging for food. It was an unnerving sight.

(now with the economy it's not just a homeless shopping technique, students are doing it too) I'm glad someone is using good food though that shouldn't have been thrown out in the first place.

A woman was sitting next to me at the bus stop, just got up, squatted, and peed on the street. And then she sat down like nothing happened.
