thank you so much for the support guys, really!
today I could not work much in the duck painting...
There is 2 things I really have to learn... typography and gamut... I'm awful in both
I love the reflected yellows from the duck on the inside of the cape collar thing. Really subtle.
10 hours of work and still have so many things to do...

Hey Fern, so what is this dude in post #245? :p a walking cake ? looks so cool dude, I think you went down a lot on saturation after refining the character, i think you should stay true to the sketch and embrace the saturation you had there, at least for the foreground, i see that in a lot of your pieces, you have a bright saturated sketch and then when you start refining it, you loose a lot of that punch.
Here, Let me show you, here i just place your sketch on top of the refined, and then erased the background of the sketch, this illustrates how i think a saturated foreground looks better if you desaturate de background accordingly, It creates a much better depth of field. This can be something you can try in all your pieces and they'll end up looking better.
Keep up the good work bro.
@rem92 thank so much man! I'll keep it in mind for the next pieces I do!
2 hours ...maybe I'll finish it

@MeteorCat thank you
happy new year folks
last 2013 painting
well may sound stupid, but really happy, I think it's the forth time I'm getting more than 100 bucks for a painting
those envioments! good job friend!
Hellooo... In the beginning of your sketchbook... I don't know if you were being overly modest or... se você realmente pensa que seus estudos iniciais eram fracos, brasuca!!
Legal ver teu trabalho, teus cenários são coisa linda de se ver!! Eu não sei desenhar cenário nem se minha vida depender disso... Vou dar uma estudada nos seus.
Keep up the good work!!
@BansheeSix thank you!
@zerosete Well man I'll answer in english so people can guess what you said. I really do think my work is weak, this year I almost gave up on art. Almost didn't drew a thing until december 2013. I'm getting old and trying to find my "path" . so many artist under 20 years old is already working in the field and have a great sense about what they want to do. Lately I'm doing commission getting around 50us$ each painting, but I'm happy with it. I mean it's like I'm starting now. Anyway thank you so much, man! Abraço!
today production was only fast studies... 1-2 min gesture /20-30 min landscape
my gesture is awful , I always miss some diagonals and some important angles I go almost to the opposite side...
I REALLY need to learn how to grasp how to work on my edges I know how they work, light against/ light, light against mid-tone etc.... but it's hard for me to organize it all.. and to choose the right brush
@yogeshj25 Thank you , sir! also I'm focusing in learning how to have more fluid gesture drawing and how to work it until it get finished but not stiff and dead as I'm doing
Today I had not much time so a bit less than yesterday... I was watching tutorials about about how photoshop works and I think I got faster and now learnt some great stuff about how to manage my edges... well today I'm not sure if I could apply ...
same as before... fast gesture and 20 min landscape
commission... not much to say... when I was younger I love vampires, but today I'm more into happy colorful nice stuff ... anyway work is work
I hope I do it better than the king
lol she asked me to look more seductive... I'm thinking how to do it :~~

Brilliant improvement! loving your still life, and gesture studies, the vamp chicks face looks weird i think its out of proportion.
@AdrianNagorski Thank you man! I hope I can make her face better, I think hair still a bit out of perspective :/
now details, hands and some colors to make it less boring
I think it's finally finished
