nice start! i like your second set of anatomy studies, im assuming you struggle with heads? i would be interested to see some attempts at the head/face.
i like animation too, great way to show the different stages

Thanks for your comment! Hm to be honest: my current "task" is learning anatomy but the head isn't interesting for me at this time. I'll definitely check this body part later. Or would you suggest to do it as first step? Personally i think, it's awesome that a simple cube can express so much - without any detail It's like Minecraft hehe! Here is an example what i mean. I don't say it's not important but currently i think cubes are good anough to show the perspective and face direction and learn muscle flow and stuff in the first line.

The tricky part about this method is you end up with killer bodies and mangled heads. You don't want your head drawing to get too far behind your over all figure drawing skills or it will make your figures look really fractured.
I have the opposite problem. I love the face, I love the expression and stories in faces and my bodies fell behind.
Best bet is to work over all. Yes it's less fun, but if you skip all the not-fun stuff you wont learn as much.
Even if you just set aside 1 /4 sessions to spend a little time on the head you'll be a lot farther ahead than if you avoid the problem entirely.

Your figures are quite good, it's a shame to glue a box on them.

Those faces are wonderful! I love the energy in your lines, very loose and fluid, I like it

Try and watch the proportions of head - body though, in one or two the head looks a bit too big for the body, but other than that very nice work

Cool that you joined this place
Though it's not an excuse for not drawing heads, but I actually find those box headed figures quite cool.. scary... interesting.
Your figures look very expressive and dynamic, I think I see the Bridgman influence.
I looked througt bridgman's books too. I actually have a huge collection of books about art which I almost totally fail to read.

I think in my studies I made the mistake that I almost completely stopped drawing from imagination and have been only drawing from life/books. But to memorize all those muscles and anything you also have to draw from memory from time to time.

Here: Acland's Video Atlas of Human Anatomy
I found it very helpful for understanding anatomy, as far as I've studied it at least.
