Thread: Bboxers's Sketchbook
May 17th, 2011 #1
Hi, I'm quite new here. I want to start up a sketchbook here to better see the progress of my art.
While I like drawing, I don't do it as often as I'd want to. That should change.
I'm not aiming to make a living of my art though and I study Graphic Design. I don't want for art, something that makes my everyday a bit brighter, to feel like a chore.
I started out drawing animu but now I'm exploring what I really wish to draw like and gradually growing out of old habits.
Main subjects Women, the human body, imaginary stuff.. I really need to get out of my comfort zones ahah.
Tools Easy Paint Tool SAI, Wacom bamboo Fun A5, any random pencil and paper.
What you'll see here Progress-shots/WIPs, sketches/sketchdumps, concepts, possibly the finished artworks too.
Any comments and criticism (constructive or not!) are very welcome and greatly appreciated!
I'll start off with something recent. I started it today, actually. Initially supposed to be just a profile-speedpaint so I doubt I'll work more on it.

School's over, I'm in my hometown and of course I forget the USB with all my files at home. So I decided to start over on my laptop and learn how to draw in Photoshop.
The following two attemps went somewhat well and I'll try to finish them.
edit: Attatchement manager not working too well, hosting offsite for now..
