To be honest I have my doubts about this being identical to the standard work Bammes book "Die Gestalt des Menschen" which has about 470 pages and costs 79 euro.

EDIT: It seems to be this book in translation which is said to be not quite as comprehensive and usefull as the Gestalt.
Not having read "Menschen zeichnen" I honestly can not comment on the quality of it allthough it probably would be a good idea to have a look through this book at a book store before buying it to decide whether it is worth it or not for you.

It's definitely worth it, although the emphasis is different there's a lot of overlap between the two books. Hopefully this will lead to a translation of Die Gestalt as well.
