THAT IS AWESOME! Looks like something from the unreal serise! M M M M M M MMM MMMMM MONSTER KILL!

i dont think I can resist the urge to parody the brief, something spongebobesc. I'm thinking, something a bit zoiberg meets thor, squidwert meets cluthulu (or however its spelt), swampthing meets the cowardly lion. The perfect blend of mythical magesty with cartoon incompetance, on a sub-aquatic scale!

Putting forth some uber efforts on brainstorming designs for this one. Idea is that humans would evolve in this situation along the lines of other mammals - sea lions, otters, whales, dolphins, etc.

Did some research on the common traits of marine mammals that I might use:
    ~Dark eyes, with nictating membranes.
~Should have elevated nose holes. on dolphins the nose holes get so elevated they go to the top of the head.
~eyes, ears, and nostrils should all be elevated if we're semi-aquatic.
    ~broad paddle tail
    ~sensory whiskers
    ~no real sense of smell
    ~streamlined, tubular ears
~head should taper into body without a definable neck, streamlined.
    ~thin, flat, paddle-like forelimbs
    ~lighter underparts
    ~perhaps thighs somewhat joined, closed?
~beefy upper body with large wingspan OR beefy tail with wider paddle
~skin secretes water saving, sun-screening viscous liquid

Anyways... Having a hard time choosing which shapes to go with. So far I'm leaning towards heads C, D, & H, tails O or N, and arms Q, R, or S.
What do you guys think? Any advice/crits more than welcome!

A couple of quick design-y things that make no sense technically or conceptually.

Going with cudddlefish meets tube worm meets evolution gone boring and typical. And a heap of other boring head theories that are probably completely wrong but I like them anyway.

    Parsakoira That's just awesome looking.

Partisan His legs look a bit too far apart from each other, might just be the armor though.

    Jolen Pretty cool heads .

Some progress on mine.. Trying to add different colors, don't seem to be working out though.
