great digitals also character sketches have lot of potential

the example i gave didn't involved hatching (let's call it one way hatching) rather drawing light which is more like painting

you're right that one direction hatching make things dull and mechanical but on the other side doing it in all possible direction creates unnecessary chaos

Nice linework and abstrack character design.
It's good to see that you put forms out of shadows.
The grandpa on the prev page has awesome expression!
    Keep up!

You have some awesome stuff in here. Great improvement!

I especially dig the starting concept of that 2nd image in post 153. Are you going to finish it?
-I often post from my phone; so please excuse the typos

I like how you dont over-render stuff, but indicate a lot with your brush strokes.

Your paintings are excellent, they remind me of Craig Mullins a bit.

I like #151 a lot, it has a nice sense of atmosphere - although as I look back through your sb, pretty much everything looks good.

    Thanks for sharing, great sb

Thanks everyone for kind comments, i appreciate it,i really do!

I present my belated chow entry no-one ever saw..BUT i finished it, which is the most important(i have problems with finishing my pieces btw). Included steps and a enviro. sketch i' d like to finish one day.

PS!Question concerning pen pressure:I use absolute default stuff, opacity and flow set to pressure and always 100%. And the 2nd dude in the post #153 is finished for me, i just don't want to overdo it - let him keep his looseness.

Dig your work man. Lots of interesting ideas here and some excellent studies and drawings. You've got a strong understanding of values and pretty solid line work too.

One thing I would mention about your line work is that I see that you go over your lines a lot, like you're scratching at them. Try going for getting it right with 1 or 2 lines, just challenge yourself with use of less lines. Also, in some of your work the proportions of the figure are off so always pay attention to that since proportions are one of the hardest things to capture.

All in all, stellar stuff! Rock on!
