Nice start! how are you liking TAD so far? Loving your pastel handling, and the master copy for Jason's comp class turned out dope.

I love the way you've used the Maroon on the figure sketches above, look's like the background is dancing with the figure, a real splash effect. The black and white portraits are great, the way you do faces reminds me of Maughans 'Drawing the Human Head' book which I didn't fully grasp though the pictures in it were great.

Lovely work! I especially like the first 3 (the figure studies) - beautiful job capturing the effect of light on skin. What medium were those? Also, the TAD poster is gorgeous. Wonderful details. Looking forward to more.

Thank you everyone for your great feedback and comments! RedOwl, the medium for those figure drawings is pastel. Its not a soft pastel its more chalky and square so we can focus on shapes and silhouettes. I will keep posting more work! I am glad you like my work Mason, thank you for your reference I'll see what that book is about

    Thank you astha khan !

alamed: the cubes and ellipses are for perspective class. If you want to do this assignment here is how you do it.

    1. make a cube out of paper.
    2. draw the cube 100 times. This part is done when your cubes ARE cubes and they are not distorted nor anything.
    3. Now ellipses: they have four quadrants and they are all symmetrical. Remember that. Put them inside your cubes. You can find tutorials about ellipses if you google "how to draw ellipses on cubes"

If you want to do it reply to me yes and ill checkyour SB and give you feedback if you want!

    cheers
    E.
