What day is 0blivion available this week? Wednesday?
Just quickly popping in here to show that i'm still alive.
Once uni is over in the next couple of months and I head back up to the midlands I'm going to try and arrange regula ish meets in the midlands area. Everyone seems to be either north or south based, so Ill try and gather some local troops and see what the outcome is. Just firing this thought out while Im thinking about it.
I'll also try and show my face in london more often, when money permits. I'm dying to go on a museum binge
sleep- your call, shawn, if its wed ill have to give it a miss, but any other day this week's fine
I leave London wednesday 9pm, so anytime before then.
Hey guys and girls, I'm moving from Manchester to London over the summer to start a post-grad in Animation although I don't know anyone in that part of the woods! Is there a regular sketch group that gets together and if so are new commers welcome? Would be cool to get to know the art crowd down there.
Cheers Sleep, I've never been part of a sketch group to be honest but it sounds like good fun. I'll have to lurk here for a while and get to know some of you guys in time for moving to the big L.
Are there a lot of graduates here? Would be quite cool if some one else from my course was on here.
Just in case... I'm starting Character Animation Postrgrad-Dip at Central St. Martins in September.
Smashed- awesome- im doing Fine Arts in St Martins, but over at Byam Shaw campus, nice to know someone else from there
Sleep- will everyone be alright with a thurs meet then?
That's alright. To be fair I'm pretty busy but the end of term is near so I'll be free during the week. I'll let yous know!

( from underpaintings.blogspot.com )
Next month, Christie's Auction House, London is having an auction of Victorian & British Pictures Including Drawings & Watercolours. The sale looks amazing, with art created by such notables as Edward Seago, Sir George Clausen, Ford Maddox Brown, The Hon. John Collier, Sir Alfred James Munnings, Sir Edward Colely Burne-Jones, Frederic Lord Leighton, John William Godward, Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema, Sir Edward John Poynter, John William Waterhouse, Herbert James Draper, Edmund Blair Leighton, Thomas Cooper Gotch, Sir John Lavery, James Tissot, Sir John Everett Millais, and Philip Alexius de László. To see such names in a sale with only 108 lots indicates what a strong offering this is, especially since several of the artists mentioned have multiple pieces in the auction.
The sale will take place at Christie's London facility at 8 King Street, St. James's, on June 16th. Previews run June 12th and 13th from 12 PM to 5 PM, June 14th from 9AM to 4:30 PM, and June 15th from 9 AM to 8PM.
