    Jake's Sketchbook

    Ok I made a rookie mistake and didn't read the rules so this one is the final one, hopefully my last thread doesn't see the light of day. Anyways here's some of my stuff, mostly new stuff. Got a long road full of studies ahead! Lemme know what ya guys think

    I like the character in the second from last. He looks like he has a story to tell!

    Your dwarf looks a bit disinterested considering the pose, but maybe that's the intention.

    For me, your environments are lacking something...maybe a point of interest in the middle ground?..something to grab the eye. They have plenty of depth, but maybe lack a bit in perspective. The second and fourth are my favorites, there could be stories in there I want to know.

    Yah those were all made for an Art RPG activity over at the Kitchen, meant to be backgrounds in which players could paint their characters fighting or doing whatver so its somewhat restrictive. I def need to work on more dynamic perspectives tho, and focal points so will keep that in mind for future works Thanks for checkin my sketchbook out

    the environments are truly your stronger side, I especially loved the swam enviro with that lamp on the tree it is lovely!

    Thanks Danny K I will def do some studies, haven't done any environment ones and I know they'd definitely help make em pop more.
