Netter Start fürn Sketchbook. Halt es halbwegs aktuell, will Fortschritte sehen.
Took you time to get in here
Nice start for a Sketchbook. Keep it fresh, wanna see some improvement.
Welcome! Willkommen! nice start, awesome stuff, post more! and some old stuff to, it would be helpful for other people to see how u started, and how u improved and there is no doubt u will improve even more, just keep it up! nur weiter so!
thanks at tronrobot and Dope Fiend
mass87:thank you too and i think it`s a good idea if i show some old stuff
Eludor:jau, ich bin endlich über meinen schatten gesprungen.bin auch echt froh drüber.da hat man gleich das gefühl etwas mehr zu dazu zugehören zu den kreativen kreisen im internet^^
i scaned some of my sketchbook sites.these mage lookin guys are for my actual semester project.
the pillar were for the last semester project.it was a level which we made in unreal engine 3 and my part of the job was to create the props
a few days ago i finished reading a warhammer 40k book.i like sci fi books because they gave so much inspiration.in one chapter of the book there where a throne room which was a commando station in a huge space ship.so now i try to draw this picture i have in my head.first i startet rough with google sketchbook to build up a perspective basis.this is my first WIP picture from it.
looks interesting. cant wait to see the next steps.
at the moment i could see a lot of things diffrent than you, but thats ok.
so i found some of my old stuff, its maybe 18-24 month old.
i startet with painting 3 years ago, i`m now 25 years old.before i startet to study game design i had nothing to do with drawing. i only scribbled around in my notepad when i was at work but i had some much fun with drawing that i decided to make it professional.if i found some older pictures i will load it up
---I'm afraid of that I can't give you any critics you wanted, but I can give you a WONDERFUL COMPLEMENT..... GOOD LUCK! for your research & studying...
Here is my: S-K-E-T-C-H-B-O-O-K
/.....if there is someone from AUSTRALIA especially from SYDNEY on this site, then leave a msg for me, and I really want to meet with you & to making a friends-of course if you'd agree it...............please
the old stuff, i remember that. funny to see after such a long time.
well, the work in progress makes a good progress but in my opinion the light is too much.
but since its a wip you probably wont leave it like this.
as it is, my eyes are attracted to the light cores and are bouncing between those.
the helmets are great, but a bit more light would get them more depth
those creatures are kinda hard to read
over the weekend i did one graphit pencil drawing and one in photoshop.
often i don´t realy know what i should draw, sitting in front of my pc and think or start drawing with no plan but sometimes some interesting pictures were born from this
You have such unique and interesting designs. I like your use of brushes , and I really dig your pencilworks. Big ups for the 40k piece. I myself find a lot of inspiration in 40k novels as well. I'd like to see you paint more and can't wait where you end up with your ship command centre. ( I'm such a sucker for the Imperial navy in 40k novels )
Keep it up!
thank you Mila, your words are a real motivation for me
you are right eludor.i think the big white windows are big problem so i changed them to darker once, because it`s space ship i will put some stars in the background and maybe a planet
now i try to give the picture a warhammer feeling
I like your artwork with those "warhammer" feeling in my opinion its more than a great work even its not already finished . Maybe you can add these typical "old+used+technique" style how you can find it in these codex's .
