    Hehe, such a cute birdie

    Is it hard/much different to draw something in "happy" mood if you draw all the time dark artworks?

    @ ANtY93:
    first i thought it would be very hard but after i made my research(looking at similar pictures for a few ours) i get it and it was much easier than expected,because i had a very good motivation, it was a birthday picture especially for my girlfriend.and i think this great motivation helped me alot to finish it
    so it wasn`t very hard an it was much more fun than expected

    next wip,added more detail,i took pictures of a scrap yard,made them black/white and added them with the layer option"darken"(the third one in the list) to the picture,so i get a lot more detail without changing the colours

    I love all the detail in the ship and the fact you can still see some blue sky in the corner. Keep in up

    Man, I love what I'm seeing here. Your sense of design is impeccable, and I love seeing those beasties brought to life with your awesome renderings :]. Your environments have gotten noticeably better as well. I'd say one thing you could improve would be anatomy/proportions, but since you're already studying I'll just shut up-- keep up the great work.

    hey man great sb. your creative work is really great. and i have to comment on the last couple of pieces as they are definately your strongest work to date. the only thing that doesnt sit with me is the weird ripple effect in the clouds but thats gone so it cool.

    more studying i'd like to see... dont get me wrong your stuff is really strong, but you should always be looking to pull from study work to improve.

    nice work mate. i have a feeling that by the time you get to page 10 im going to be in tears with how sick this sb is. nuff said!

    Holy hell! The wip pictures on your last piece were already promising something good.
    The last update is amazing and you really captured the scale of this enormous ship. I'm really anxious to see the end result. If I make a suggestion: Maybe somehow capturing vast ammounts of air/energy displacement.

    Keep up the good work. You're improving at an amazing pace

    thanks @ all of you,keeps me motivated
    @nor: i will do
    @bulletproof: hahah cool, i think the same when i go for a walk,makes the day much more interesting^^
    @deerinheadlights: yeah the little blue sky makes a big difference,i testet it without but i dosn`t looked good,it`s very easy to add a lot details with that detail level but now it comes to "rendering"---puh a lot of work with only small differences
    @Dirgeance:you are completely right,i have do to more studies,but for me it`s very hard to do that mono stuff,i have ideas which come out first and than i cancel the studies,but i have to control my self better in that case
    @Wrulf: i think translucency is not that hard^^ with the right brushes it`s no problem but thanks
    @dog-faced: i hope the ripple effect is gone in the new update and i agree with you,i have to focus more an study
    @TrueInstinct: thanks^^
    @Mila: thanks you for coming back to my SB,i thought about the air/energy displacement but i could find a propper solution till now,but i will keep working on thata and i want to avoid lights and laser stuff so the spaceship will look more rough,in the new update i painted with the sky colour above the hole ship and i think that put it more into the background

    so here the update and the beginning of a new one

    This is looking cool the huge insect looking spaceship thing looks epic! got some good warm cold contrast going on!

    and the one right below it has some good potential to, are those plants? could be some mechanic\organic stuff?

    using the video as ref for the anatomy studies is a good idea, I might just copy that

    Thanks @ DStraX : i`m not really sure about the "white" pictures under the spaceship,i will wait,maybe a good idea hits directly into my face and yeah of course copy the idea using videos for reference^^ i hope it will help you

    at his stage the "spaceship" picture is enough,i don´t want to spend to much time because it already transport the idea

    That ship painting is really strong! Have you considered maybe not cropping quite at tight on it? Curious to see how it would hold up with just a bit more room to breathe within that composition. Just a thought, nothing more
    Great work!

    Very nice flow in the characters, the cyclops especially.
    Something I'd suggest is give some harder edges and differentiating surface textures for your characters, but like post #101 suggests, you already know that.
    Can't give much crit now, keep it up!
