Also, I got something in the mail about an open house at Wackers Academie, Amsterdam. It's not a school I'm interested in but I guess if anyone lives in the area they might want to swing by and check out the work.

Eindexamenexpositie 2011 op 27, 28 en 29 mei:

Met werk van de afgestudeerden van 2011. Van de opleidingen Tekenen Schilderen, Tekenen Beeldhouwen en de jeugdopleiding Wackers Young.

We nodigen u van harte uit op de feestelijke uitreiking van de diploma´s op vrijdag 27 mei om 20.00 uur. Op deze avond overhandigen wij ook de prijs aan de winnaar van de Wackers Basics-loting. Op zaterdag 28 mei en zondag 29 mei bent u ook welkom op de academie tussen 14.00 en 18.00 uur.
Kom allen het examenwerk bewonderen, onder het genot van een hapje en een drankje.

Maybe the central train station of Utrecht is a good place to start? You have star bucks etc. with a good view in the station. Maybe the Neude is a good place as well? Don't know Utrecht well besides the train station and centrum

Dromer and Sushy, wich dates are possible for you two?

Never did this before. Do you guys have some tips on what I should bring with me. Some fineliners and a molensky?

I have no plans that are set in stone yet, all days are fine for me, even the 27th.
The Dom and the cathedral are great buildings to draw and there are a few terrasjes around it. The Neude is also a good spot. I am not too familiar with bars, even though I live in Utrecht, but we can work something out.

Here are the sketches I made at the sketchmeeting. It was great fun to meet other artists and to talk, draw and have a few drinks.

Looking forward for the next one and let's hope there will be more sun.
