I'm currently taking an anatomy class with a guy by the name of Palumbo at the Art Students' League, but I might check out Parsons anyway.

hey do you guys meet up any times, (that's not during the day) work has me so busy, I'm not free at all until after 7 pm...

I met Tyboogie the other night at Perter DeSeve's talk, and look forward to meeting all you other NY concept arters....

maybe we should try to all get to the Society to meet up...

and if anyone who does know the Society and it's chairperson Dennis Dittrich, I'm gonna be doing a talk and possible demonstration at one of his classes at Jersey City University....

at this point nothing is slated in stone, but if anyone is interested I could see if it would possibly be open to non-students of the university..

my tentative plane is to maybe offer a paint demo using Photoshop...

but again, nothing is decided yet, and at this point it won't be happening until next year with the new class sessions starting up..

    let me know

I totally agree that we should arrange a CA-NY get-together.

But I also think we should make a strong showing in Austin as well! Who all from NY will be attending? We need to prove to the Concept art world that New York can be cool too!!!! Haha.

    bummer..

im in jersey but id def meet up if a group forms.
im seriously in need of hanging around serious, motivated artists...everyone ive met recently has been rlly blah about there skills and goals.

we could always just meet up at some bar/ eatery in the city
plenty of places with cool atmosphere, or maybe im just from jersey and get suckered by pretty lights eh

I definitely think it would be a good idea for all of us to get together in some way.

Mayhaps we could all agree to meet for a certain figure drawing class once every 2 weeks or so, and then go out for drinks afterwards to give crits or swap war-stories and such.

There is a pretty good fig. drawing place on Spring Street that I used to go to, that might be a good, central location.

I also have a studio in Brooklyn that has a pretty awesome roof-top that would be good for parties and such... just putting it out there.

I guess what is important here is that someone takes the initiative to actually organize an event, which I am not against doing, but it would be easier for me if I had some additional help because my schedule is pretty crazy these days.

    Thoughts?

Hehe, yeah I kinda set that trap up for myself. OK, well, once things quiet down a bit for me after i get back from E3, we can start taking suggestions as to what type of get-together everyone would like to organize.

How many people from NYC are going to the Austin Workshop? Count 1 for me so far.... TY? Do I assume correctly that you will be attending?
