Hi everyone! My name is Roy Cokenour otherwise known as kaber. I have had this account for quite sometime and figured it was about time I used it. Been lurking here and there but I shall step forth from the shadows to share my finished works. I will set up a sketchbook soon as well.

So it appears this is to be my gallery. Views of Everwhen, Glimpses of my fantasy worlds. One moment, trapped in time. I paint mainly Dark Fantasy and there may be, from time to time, nudity or suggestive imagery, you have been warned. All paintings are done using Photoshop and a wacom Intuos 4.

I still have a long way to go to be the master I wish to be so thank you in advance for your comments and critiques.

This was inspired by a friends desire for a web banner for his forum. It's an oldie but still one of my favorites and still one of my best.

    Rising Storm

A dragon I did recently. Painted in Photoshop. I realy wanted to capture that uhoh moment where the dragon rises up from its slumber to wreak havoc on the land.

    The first one looks spectacular.

Nice color palette and I love how you rendered the water.

    Looks really cool.

Thank you very much! I should perhaps think to take more time on my work. I get so involved and I don't want to stop before it's finished but there comes a point when I get tired of looking at the same piece for long.

    Here are some others.
The first two were commissioned by friends. All in Photoshop. The Flaming horse used a lot of custom brushes.
