    You're right! I have been trying to start with defined edges on my skulls which is bad. On my skull drawings, I was trying to replicate as close as I could. Still have much to learn.

    Yeah Tetsuo, my values are poor and I just started reading up on it to address it. Charcoal was fun. Never really drew with it before. I know now I can get darker with my pencil drawings and need too. Thanks for the advice. Oh, I'm planning on taking a quick basic drawing course next month. Really looking forward to get some real training too.

    My Xbox controller's right side was too small when I started shading. So I had to erase it and fix the proportions. I did it all by eye so I know it's still off some. I should probably just get in the habit of checking my proportions more and less on just eye balling it.

    Worked on another charcoal drawing study.

    Still working on values. I think I'll switch to some graphite (pencil) work. One thing I hate about charcoal is that stuff goes everywhere and is messy.
