    Armature stand UK

Hi all, I am trying to get hold of an Armature stand or the parts to make one. I have seen references to it from the US but i live in the UK. I don't have access to transport and would like to get the stand or parts online. Does anyone in the UK use this stand or know of an online store in the UK that sells it or the parts or something close to what i want?

This is an image of the stand I want.

Hey Crowv...one of the stores that i use all the time is Tiranti. They have almost everything a sculptor need.
This is a link you may want to check http://www.tiranti.co.uk/subdivision...9&Subdivision=

They have good products but they are little bit expensive.
The user The Dark Power may be able to help you more since he is from UK i believe.

The American one will be in some stupid Imperial measurements

What you want is some M6 (or maybe M5 is you're doing fine stuff / M8 is you're going big) threaded rod, wing-nuts... I'm not sure what the holder bit is - tbh it looks like half a hinge? I'd probably just knock something together out of a couple of angle brackets - you'd need one attached to the upright to get the 90 degrees to attach the crossbar, and you can't buy them just one at a time

Improvise, and use what you have to hand
