A bit more recent, trying to push past conventional-looking creatures.

Quick concept for an alien character for a now-defunct TV show.

I might fix the problems on this guy and finish him in Photoshop one of these days.

Nice stuff man, you have good knowledge of form and lighting. Your portrait stuff reminds me of Chet Zars - http://www.google.co.uk/search?rlz=1...w=1259&bih=576

    Keep up the good work

Thanks, man! Chet is actually a work acquaintance of mine. He's a really gifted artist, so that is quite a complement.

Hey, good start. Some pretty nasty stuff in here, but that's not a bad thing. Good texturing on the pencils.
Would like to see more fast/loose work like the charcoal/soft pencil sketch at near the top of this page.

    Keep posting!

CoW Sound Round submission. Painting the culvert was WAY harder than doing the creature.

Me, too! Do you know where I can steal some nice, loose stuff and pretend its mine? Seriously, I sat down on a Wacom stylus years ago and haven't been able to loosen up since.

    I do appreciate the input.
