Jatherip: Here is a digital portraitjust for you

Well dad went camping and took the camera so can't take any photographs. As well I lost my Intuos 3 Was my fault though see I have been leaveing it in this computer room underneither at the other end of the desk by the wall, and it's been there for a few weeks now hah.

Yesterday I go into the computer room after I came back from figure drawing that night and... the whole room was empty, the tables, computers were all gone and was replaced by someones work desk and a cabinet. FUCKKKKKKKKK!!!!

May get it back but I'm not counting on that.

I'm thinking of buying either a Intuos 4 or a Cintiqu 21x (spelling?) Most likely a Intuous 4, I enjoy not seeing my hand

In the mean time I dug up my old Graphire The portrait looks blurry, blah.

yay for portrait studies and right, youve gotta keep goin!!! SO LETS GET INTENSE NOW (wait...who said that ?)!
btw, i think the value range in the last portrait is still a bit small....you could actually use nearly black grey and nearly white grey
good to see you working hard anyway, and you were right: i am still lazy. i am not intense
enough and i spend too much time on the internet...whatever....keep practicing
(kinda confusing comment, isnt it? i hope you got what i meant.....my gay mates are annoying me right now.....)

    Jatherip: You are wise

    Stuff from today.

I had a cool idea for an event at my school. A 24 hour digital painting marathon in one of the mac labs, 1 painting every hour! We just go nuts on our tablets haha! I like that idea alot I hope I can make the idea pass

    Values still not there

Nice work so far, seem quite busy, I would try push the contrast up (darker darks, lighter lights) it will make your work stand out more I think, keep on posting, your doing great

wohoooo. massive improvement in your self-portraits! keep on working on the values!
portraits are gettinībetter, too.! the you hit the features. i think you can draw even darker on the darkest points. however avoid the total darkness!when you have the right values, concentrate on highlights
    youīre on the good way.
abnd please please keep doing the self portraits. i think self portraits are one of the most helpful things!

    gogogo!

Big improvement since the beginning. What's it been? Just 6 months or so? That's inspiring.

When you went away from drawing outside contours, you got much better. Drawing stuff by drawing the outside contour is the hard way to draw. Drawing from an understanding of the volumes, shapes, and construction is much easier. Takes study, though.

Good study of muscles and whatnot there. Love to see those.

Keep workin, you got a good thing going here.

    Purupuru Pururin Purupururin

    Thanks guys it means alot

Yay I tottaly left at 5 in morning today and drew on the train all morning till my figure drawing class Though the drawings suck =( I felt tired, but happy that I was up. (Took a few naps)

I let my self get down the past few days with my drawings. I can't let my self be in that frame of mind though, it totally demotivates me to draw... and it's all about your frame of mind!!!

    Lol what a sweet ringtone!

Cool life drawings! You know what you need so you're not down?

Hot models I feel for ya I've been lucky; all the female models I've drawn recently have been quite... er... nicely put together

J/K we know it's all about the drawing when you sit down, and get into it. I would draw a 600 year old elephant if we could get one and get it to pose for us

Good work, though. Keep pounding away at it. Something good will happen soon with your work if you keep this up. You'll make a breakthrough and then everything will be peachy. For a while

    Thanks alot guys!!!

P Sage: Haha, well I seem to get alot of good looking models anyways, and I always get to talk to them But honestly when I'm drawing a model there not really people to me any more. There objects.

Sorry about the scans, the scanner liked to crop the stuff at the top and I didn't think it mattered enough to figure out how to adjust it.

Were stupid and tend to forget what we want to do, so I'm going to make my self a schedule everyday from now on! I guess it's a personal thing but I still feel it's a positive thing to post it. Doesn't feel negative to me at all.

6-7: Wakeup, eat, shower, warm up drawing.
    7-9: Study some drawings
9-12: Break for 20, draw from imagination.
12-3: Eat, Figure draw from reference and imagination.
    3-5: Break, hand drawings.
5-10: Go out with friends to see Eva 1.0!!! Do some drawing on train.
10-12: Work on character rotation for Sheridan Portfolio.
12-1: Update on Conceptart.org, write schedule
1-6: Fall asleep watching Ranma 1/2, have some awesome dreams!

Been doing life drawing basically every day now, it's helping.

Fuck life drawing tomorrow ( Did I just say that? ) I'm going out to see Evangelion 1.0 in theaters. (Sorry life drawing)
