    Marker Environment [City]

Just finished this.. took about 2.5 hours.. my first attempt at using markers for anything other than flat colour.

Have limited set of markers so had to make do.. colours blend more in real thing than scanned image :bash:

Guess it doesn't really matter, I'm nowhere near the level of most of the people posting here!

    C&C please!

The perspective is off. The buidlings should have perfectly straight vertical lines.

slight? there is nothing slight about that.
the buildings to the right shouldnt go to the third vanishiing point of the buildings on the left.

some12kill, it's called an artistic style. He's doing it to give a skewed appearance.

sixBlade, I like it. I think you should add some more details to the scene, though. To the buildings, et cetera. But the overall colour is nice, and I can picture a huge explosion occuring waaay down the street and it's casting its ominous glow. Very cool.

myriadian thanks a lot! I was hoping somebody would say something about the colour (I spent most of the time trying to get the colour right)

I think I agree with the detail part.. I meant to add some people on the right hand side but forgot.. but now you mention it I should probably have added some more stuff to the buildings as well, it looks a bit dry other than the colours looking at it again now!

Thanks a lot for the c&c! :chug:

Yeah, it seems like a fun picture to do. I always enjoy it when people work on the lighting/colouring. If you work on the picture more, I would love to see what becomes of it.
