Why can't I open a JPG in Painter8?
Can you please help? I just installed Painter 8 yesterday, and messed around with one of my jpgs. Today I tried to open a different jpg, and Painter just shutsdown. The only one that will open, is the the jpg I was working on yesterday.
Is it something that needs changed in Settings, or resolution problems, or what? I can't find anything describing this problem.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this will help, but it's worth trying:
If your JPG image is down too far in the folder structure, move it up nearer the system's root directory. For instance, if the image is here:
...............folder containing JPG
Move it up to:
C:/folder containing JPG
......folder contining JPG
